Researchers are welcome to produce 4-page (max) reports on topics that will shape future cities. Works for the following (but not limited to) topics will be considered. Visionary ideas are especially encouraged. Participation Guidelines.
Methods, analytics and models that predict foot traffic and signals that make a business successful.
How do cities grow and how do urban dynamics and patterns manifest in terms of venue interactions?
We welcome works that address urban social phenomena by means of urban mobility data and help improve living conditions in cities.
Visualisation methods and cartography tools for urban modelling and analytics.
Works that use mobile datasets to understand and improve urban transport and accessibility.
Emergent properties in urban systems, gravity and network models of venue and area interactions.
As part of the challenge, access to a longitudinal mobility dataset describing venue interactions in the world's top cities will be provided to participating research groups.
